How long does the install process take?

Installations can vary from one project to the next. Most installs will require two visits, one day apart. Some installs can be completed in a single visit

Why is Flat Rate Coatings cheaper than other companies?

Flat Rate Coatings does not utilize any uncharges, fees, upgrades, etc. which keeps your cost low by skipping all of the unnecessary costs.

While other companies purchase their epoxy and other coating supplies from a distributor, Flat Rate Coatings owns the lab that formulates and produces some of the highest quality coatings on the market.

Is there a warranty on my coating?

Flat Rate Coatings warranties all of their coatings to be free of defects for 5 years from the completion of install.

What if I need help moving things?

If you are unable to move everything yourself, such as refrigerators or other large items, many local moving companies can assist you. Local home improvement centers often rent out dollies, carts and other tools that can also make this easier.

Does my garage need to be empty prior to installation?

Your garage needs to be completely empty prior to starting the installation. Large permanent items such as water softeners, water heaters or built in shelving may remain in place.

How long until I can use my garage again?

Your installer will go over all details and restrictions after completing your coating. In general, you can walk on your garage 12 hours after install, but you should wait 48 hours before putting anything heavy on it such as a refrigerator, shelving or vehicles.
